It is with great pleasure that I write this letter on behalf of my husband and I. We can hardly contain our excitement. Here are the results of savings we have incurred since the installation of the Soy Based Spray Foam Insulation in mid-July 2011.

Our invoices from Florida Power and Light from June 8 to November 8, 2011 are as follows:

The only additional thing that we have done to conserve energy, which included setting out thermostat at 78 degrees, was to unplug our television, the FIOS receiver and the DVD player which is all part of the components for watching TV. Before we go to bed, the above are unplugged and then turned back on at about 5:00 pm in the evening. Only on the weekend do we plug it in earlier -- at about noon.

When the invoice for October came in, John thought they had read the meter wrong. NOPE. We should have another invoice the first week in January, and it should be close to the last two.

We certainly have enjoyed the big savings and hopefully will continue to see a steady comparison if not a  little more of a saving.
